Welcome!

Advisor | Practitioner | Architect of Accountability™

I’ve spent my career observing how operations influence systems and the people those systems are meant to serve. When work is implemented with intention, systems can support complex functions and still perform at a high level. When plans are fragmented, that same infrastructure can complicate even the simplest processes. My perspective is shaped by a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary, along with years inside organizations where the everyday work of care takes shape.

This lens guides my leadership as Strategic Director for the National Alliance on Ending Health Disparities (NAEHD), where I work as the Architect of Accountability™ to help organizations understand how their structures function in practice. It also informs advisory work with Johns Hopkins Medicine and INOVA Health System, with a focus on strengthening the everyday work of care. Writing is also part of this practice. My work has appeared in JMIR, KevinMD, Scaled Agile, Women Thrive Magazine, and newspapers across Virginia through syndication in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. I contribute to the academic side of the field through invited peer review, offering practical insight and independent judgment to the evaluation of submitted research.

Meet My Team

TWO TINY TEAMMATES WHO STAY FUREVER COMMITTED TO THEIR PAW‑SITIONS.

Teddi, Chief Happiness Officer

While I’m busy building the architecture of your accountability, Teddi is busy managing the architecture of our office morale. As my Chief Happiness Officer, she takes her job very seriously — and as the apple of her mom’s eye, she makes sure I never forget to balance focus with joy.

She is a passionate advocate for breaks, often voicing her “expert” opinions with a few enthusiastic barks whenever she thinks I’ve been at the desk too long. Teddi is a constant reminder that even the most focused work needs a little heart — and that sometimes, the best way to stay on track is to take a quick “paws” for a tail wag.

Nayla, Chief Paw-sonnel Officer

While Teddi keeps the office morale steady, Nayla is fully committed to managing the other side of the operation — the chaos. As my spirited niece, she brings an unmatched level of curiosity, energy, and “creative disruption” to the workspace.

She believes every project benefits from a little unpredictability, and she delivers it with gusto. Whether she’s supervising from the sidelines or inserting herself directly into the action, Nayla reminds me that structure and spontaneity can coexist — and that sometimes, the best ideas come from a well‑timed burst of chaos.
