The 2026 National Health Disparities Summit is an elite, 1.5‑day interdisciplinary gathering at the newly renovated Sheraton Pentagon City that bridges clinical excellence with community policy and advocacy. This high‑value experience will feature continuing education credit, structured networking opportunities, and intentional spaces for attendees to share stories and collaboratively strategize what eliminating health disparities looks like in practice.

This conversation focuses on the health issues affecting college‑age students, drawing on real experiences from Student Health Centers. The presenters talk about the challenges students navigate, the gaps that influence access and follow‑through, and the community factors that shape their well‑being.

Living with ME/CFS, Long Covid, and related complex chronic conditions can make it difficult to explain how you're feeling or to know whether a treatment is truly helping. Symptoms like pain, fatigue, brain fog, behavior changes, and post-exertional malaise (PEM) can fluctuate, making it especially challenging to remember and communicate what has changed between medical visits.

This year, on ME/CFS Awareness Day, Solve announced ME/CFS Catalyst Award funding for Dr. Jay H. Chung (National Institutes of Health) in support of his study, "Mitochondrial stabilizer IVO-21 as therapy for ME/CFS."
 
The study tests a low-cost pill medication called IVO in preclinical mouse models to see if it boosts cellular energy and reduces inflammation—mechanisms believed to drive symptoms such as fatigue and brain fog.
