Health Care Access & Human-Centered Design

This work examines how care environments, communication systems, and operational workflows influence a person's ability to access and participate in health care. It explores how conditions that are often treated as routine parts of care delivery can shape patient experience, engagement, and continuity throughout the care journey.

Informed by patient advocacy, lived experience, and systems-level observation, the work focuses on practical opportunities to improve access by addressing barriers embedded within care environments and administrative processes. Multiple manuscripts are underway.
